"Live Today" Hanging Pillow Ornament

Such positive, thoughtful affirmations to live by.  The powers of affirmation can reverse our fears and negativity.  And best of all it gives you that feel-good factor.  

With this thought in mind, I have created a house-shaped hanging pillow ornament, just nice to hang in a nook or corner of a bedroom, work space, baby's crib, a doorknob or even in your car.  This ornament is completely handmade ~ hand-stitched with ♥.

The affirmation is cross-stitched in maroon.  Beside these words, a vine with orange flowers and green leaves are stitched scaling upwards, denoting progress and empowerment.  Other unique touches include a girl/ballerina charm, seen dancing on the balcony, border embroidery in pink and maroon, gorgeous lace trims, white floral trim hanging loop and has a few small pieces of different fabric stash (Leisure Courtyard in brown, Sweet Country Look in pink and Sweet Cherry in purple) that is arranged and pieced together to form the shape of a house.

The finished size of the pillow is approximately 14cm at its longest and 11cm at its widest and has a polyester fiber filling.  You will receive this exact item.

Standing on the promises of God....which means even the worst can be weathered if God's promises to heal, restore and deliver is firmly believed in. This verse comes from Psalm 145:13b, "The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made".  This phrase also comes from a song/hymn called "Standing on the Promises" by composer Russell Kelso Carter (1849-1928) on the reality and power of God's promises.  I'm sure these words can be a guiding light to many; bringing comfort, security and assurance.  

This ornament is finished in an overall pretty pink to reflect a girl's sweetness, grace and femininity.  The words are cross-stitched in pink, with a lovely girl/fairy standing in a garden of flowers with a maroon flower button as the sun.  On the reverse, a lovely pink roses fabric is affixed.  It hangs with a satin ribbon loop, with a pink bow-shaped button at its base.  Most suitable as a decor in a girl's bedroom or a baby girl's nursery or crib.
